Description
Reports to: VP of HR
Cooperates with: All Departments
Primary Responsibility: Performs Human Resource functions for the MIRATECH enterprise.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support employee onboarding activities, including new hire orientation and paperwork.
- Assist in HRIS data entry and maintenance.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Contribute to the development and updating of HR policies and procedures.
- Organize and maintain physical HR files.
- Assist in archiving and purging outdated records.
- Generate letters for employees verifying information such as insurance coverage, employment status, etc.
- Manage and monitor the HR voicemail box.
- Conduct employment verifications for current and former employees.
- Maintain accurate records of verification activities.
- Assist with HR/Legal situations as needed.
- Support HR with IT tasks when requested.
- Help out with office management, people operations, and contribute to MIRATECH's healthy work culture.
Qualifications:
- Degree seeking student in Human Resources, Business or similar.
- Interest of employment law, compliance, benefits, payroll.
- Data entry skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
