At the heart of electric mobility, Valeo Power brings together expertise in thermal management systems and propulsion systems. This division develops innovations that contribute to the mobility of tomorrow by reducing pollutant emissions and maximizing vehicle autonomy.

The site of Kumahgaya-shi based in Japan belongs to the POWER Division. We are looking for a VIE Supply Chain Scheduler for 24 months within the team.

Your challenges?

• You will manage component and raw material inventories by maintaining optimal stock levels for assigned families and tracking daily inventory levels (Supply Planning & Inventory Optimization).
• You will drive inventory reduction by defining and executing action plans to lower raw material and component inventories within assigned families (Supply Planning & Inventory Optimization).
• You will monitor and improve supplier performance by measuring the Supplier Service Rate (SSR) and implementing targeted plans to boost service levels (Global Procurement & Vendor Management).
• You will align planning with demand by using SIOP and MPS to forecast material requirements, anticipating and mitigating production and supplier impacts (S&OP & Cross-Functional Alignment).
• You will issue forecasts and track shipments by validating weekly forecasts for suppliers and monitoring daily arrivals for on-time delivery of firm orders (Global Procurement & Vendor Management).
• You will maintain proactive supplier communication by exchanging accurate, reliable information using communication methods adapted to the situation (Global Procurement & Vendor Management).
• You will execute supply chain improvements by participating in Purchasing/Logistics meetings and supporting lean tools like Kanban, Pull flow, EDI, and Milk run (S&OP & Cross-Functional Alignment).
• You will coordinate inbound logistics and inventory accuracy by collaborating with External Flow Analysts on transportation plans and protocols, and supporting ERP inventory counts (Supply Planning & Inventory Optimization).
• You will manage crises and escalations by alerting Sales during crises to align priorities, follow action plans, and escalate when necessary (Supply Chain Risk Management & Contingency Planning).
• You will ensure account coverage and risk mitigation by meeting regularly with supplier contacts, establishing backup coverage, and training backups for seamless operation during absences (Supply Chain Risk Management & Contingency Planning).

 Let’s talk about you…

• You are graduated from a Master degree in Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Industrial Engineering 
• You already have experience in supply chain / logistics / operations (ideally in the automotive industry)
• You have a fluent level of English. Knowledge of Japanese is appreciated.
• You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
• You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
