Description
As a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist in Japan, you will play a strategic and hands-on role in driving MKS’s talent agenda across Japan and selected countries in the region. You will be the trusted advisor to local business leaders and HR partners, ensuring alignment between talent strategies and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring experience in full-spectrum recruiting—from early career to senior leadership—while demonstrating strong business acumen, market insight, and a proactive mindset toward workforce planning.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to fulfill the organization's staffing needs.
Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from candidate sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand talent requirements and provide guidance and support throughout the hiring process.
Conduct recruitment activities across all levels, including executive-level positions, mid-level management, and entry-level roles.
Lead regional campus recruitment efforts and promote the hiring of fresh graduates and diverse talents.
Drive employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization's reputation as an employer of choice.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, continuously enhancing recruitment processes and strategies.
Act as a brand ambassador for MKS Instruments, promoting our culture and values to potential candidates.
Skills You Bring: (Required Skills)
Minimum of 3 years years of recruiting experience, ideally within a high-tech, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
Proven experience in managing mid-management and complex hires, with demonstrated success in engaging with business leaders.
Agency recruitment or RPO experience is a plus.
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and ability to translate workforce needs into actionable hiring plans.
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Agile, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Fluency in English and Japanese is required
