Job Description Summary
Manufacturing Engineer – Special Processes is responsible for supporting and improving incoming inspection and special process activities related to industrial gas turbine component repair, including incoming part condition report review, Auto Inspection System (AIS), incoming blue light scanning and other inspections. The role focuses on safety and quality compliance, operational support, process cross qualification, and continuous improvement to achieve business and customer requirements.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Support incoming inspection report review, Auto inspection system, incoming blue light scanning and NDT inspections.
Conduct cross-qualification of special processes related incoming inspection for gas turbine component repair.
Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Ensure compliance with EHS requirements, quality standards and engineering specifications
Work with Engineering team on technical and operation related issues.
Identify and implement projects to improve production quality and process performance.
Support operations with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem solving.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Material Engineering with at least 3 years of work experience.
Experience with special processes such as thermal spraying, heat treatment, chemical processing.
Familiarity with process qualification, validation, and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
