Job Description

The Resident Programs Aide is responsible for: 

  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating physical therapeutic programs 

  • Documenting resident participation in activities

  • Following prescribed physical therapy for residents as outlined in care plans 

  • Coordinating and participating in general resident care 

The Resident Programs Aide will assist in: 

  • Liaising with stakeholders (e.g. school, service clubs) 

  • Facilitating resident, family and volunteer interaction. 

The Resident Programs Aide will: 

  • Obtain feedback from customers and implement improvement strategies and recommend improvement activities 

  • Carry out all assigned training and duties in compliance with applicable Occupational Health and Safety legislation and company policy. 

  • Respect and preserve the privacy, confidentiality and security of resident and workers' personal and health information.
