Description
Working closely with Marketing, Product, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology, and external affiliate partners, this individual will help manage the affiliate channel roadmap, onboard and optimize partners, and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth and business results. The ideal candidate combines strong affiliate marketing expertise with exceptional project management, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
This position follows a hybrid work schedule requiring three days per week onsite in New York City, NY.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of affiliate channel strategies that drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and business objectives.
- Manage relationships with affiliate networks, publishers, agencies, and strategic partners, including onboarding, activation, optimization, and performance reviews.
- Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution, coordinating efforts across Marketing, Product, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resource requirements, risks, and success metrics while ensuring on-time delivery.
- Partner with business and technology teams to identify and implement enhancements to affiliate platforms, tracking, attribution, reporting, and operational processes.
- Monitor channel performance and analyze data to identify growth opportunities, improve partner effectiveness, and optimize return on investment.
- Develop executive-ready presentations, business cases, performance reports, and strategic recommendations.
- Ensure affiliate marketing activities comply with regulatory, legal, privacy, brand, and governance requirements.
- Drive issue resolution, stakeholder alignment, and decision-making across multiple teams and external partners.
- Identify opportunities to improve affiliate processes, reporting, governance, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, performance marketing, digital acquisition, partnerships, product management, consulting, or project management.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Strong understanding of affiliate marketing ecosystems, networks, publishers, and performance-based marketing models.
- Experience managing external partners and influencing internal stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience developing executive communications and presenting insights to senior leadership.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial services, credit card, lending, or consumer banking experience.
- Experience with affiliate platforms and networks such as CJ, Impact, Partnerize, or Rakuten.
- Knowledge of affiliate tracking, attribution, tagging, and performance measurement methodologies.
- Familiarity with marketing compliance, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience supporting channel strategy, marketing technology, or product development initiatives.
- PMP, Agile, or related project management certification.
