What will you do:
- Coordinate and ensure the success of the operational part of the manufacturing of the process of introduction and or transfer of new components-products SKU and/or manufacturing process.
- Provide manufacturing support during daily operation, generate and manage engineering documentation for manufacturing.
- Implement a Lean Tools, footprint improvements, layout design, Stablish sequence, documentation, OMS.
- Implement CAR projects: New Technology, cost reduction projects, Increase capacity.
How you will do it:
- Provides production lines of equipment, tools and machinery to make processes safe, efficient and with quality.
- Does and determines standard times for assembly of every unit made on plant and report It to cost department.
- Analyses and gives solution to production, security and quality problems
- Makes studios of cost reductions, determinates possible savings and if they are approved, implement those changes.
- Keep updated plant Lay Out
- Implement layout footprint
- Operational method sheets
- Tooling and equipment on the cell station.
- Participate actively in the development of warranty reduction strategies.
- Daily relationship with support departments.
- Ensure that the cost reduction initiatives are implemented at the factory.
- Equipment design and modifications for production and quality departments.
- PFEMA.
- Fixtures, templates, poyakoyes.
- Report all injuries, almost accidents, unsafe acts / conditions and occupational health problems and take the necessary corrective measures, as well as support in the investigation.
- Support and comply with all security practices, systems and rules established in the company.
- Keep the areas clean and tidy, maintaining the 5’s standards.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment.
- Review and participate in risk assessments ensuring the level of alertness in their areas when working with materials and chemicals.
- Ensure applicable activities that help achieve EHS, Quality & JCMS goals and metrics.
- Participate in EHS, Quality & JCMS observations program.
- Ensure EHS, Quality & JCMS goals and metrics are established in GPAS for all employees.
- Responsible for the design of the PFMA.
- Responsible for prototypes, new products.
- Route Manager, standard hours, operational data sheets, flow charts, VSM.
- Responsible for implementing balances and time studies.
- Responsible for implement lean manufacturing, determination and control of manufacturing capabilities within the plant.
- Responsible for the plant layout, as well as all change from any project or initiative.
- Responsible for the successful manufacture implementation of new products/technologies.
- Active participation in communications, campaigns, training, and any other activities related to the ISO 9000 QMS.
- Comply with the quality requirements defined in the ASME manual.
- Comply with layer audits.
- Comply with the Quality Policy.
- Follow the guidelines of the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, participate in campaigns, generate operational control records for EHS management systems, and apply legal requirements and internal EHS standards.
- Comply with the Environment, Health, and Safety Policy.
- Participate in the prevention of occupational diseases and injuries.
What we look for:
Required
- Bachelor (Industrial / Mechanical or mechatronics) degree.
- Intermediate English (B1)
- 7.5 years of experience in the Metal Mechanic Industry and Metallurgical knowledge or master degree with 5 years of experience in Metal Mechanic Industry.
- Ability to relations with direct people.
- Leader skills.
- Ability to develop and motivate direct reports.
- This position requires a quality-focused attitude with an appropriate sense of urgency and attention to details.
