Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position focuses on establishing development standards and ensuring that the software meets expectations for quality, scalability, and performance, all while aligning with the broader business goals. Collaboration and leadership are central to managing the progress and success of multiple projects within the team.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and efficiency.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and improve overall team performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment between technical and business stakeholders.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP SCM APO Advanced Planning & Optimization.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns related to supply chain management solutions.
- Experience in managing and optimizing performance, scalability, and maintainability of complex software systems.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and provide clear guidance on development standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools used in advanced planning and optimization environments.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges in a multi-team collaborative setting.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in SAP SCM APO Advanced Planning & Optimization.
- This position is based at our BDC7A - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
