Process Equipment Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on semiconductor process tools and supporting equipment.
• Execute maintenance procedures in accordance with OEM documentation and internal SOPs.

• Diagnose and resolve first level mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and utility-related issues.
• Respond to tool alarms and support equipment recovery activities.
• Escalate complex issues to Equipment Engineers and OEM service teams.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

• Support equipment installation, startup, qualification, and relocation activities.
• Coordinate facility hookups and equipment readiness activities.
• Verify operational readiness prior to engineering usage.

• Support daily lab operational activities and equipment readiness.
• Coordinate with tool owners and engineering teams for maintenance scheduling.
• Assist in tracking equipment uptime, PM compliance, and work-order closure metrics.

• Follow EHS standards, Cleanroom protocols, and LOTO procedures.

• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability.
• Participate in productivity and cost-reduction projects.
• Contribute to standardization of maintenance practices across laboratories.

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Instrumentation Engineering
• Mechatronics Engineering
• 3-8 years of relevant experience in:
• Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance
• Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance
• Automation Systems
• Wafer fab experience would be an added advantage
