Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on semiconductor process tools and supporting equipment.
- Execute maintenance procedures in accordance with OEM documentation and internal SOPs.
- Diagnose and resolve first level mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and utility-related issues.
- Respond to tool alarms and support equipment recovery activities.
- Escalate complex issues to Equipment Engineers and OEM service teams.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Support equipment installation, startup, qualification, and relocation activities.
- Coordinate facility hookups and equipment readiness activities.
- Verify operational readiness prior to engineering usage.
- Support daily lab operational activities and equipment readiness.
- Coordinate with tool owners and engineering teams for maintenance scheduling.
- Assist in tracking equipment uptime, PM compliance, and work-order closure metrics.
- Follow EHS standards, Cleanroom protocols, and LOTO procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability.
- Participate in productivity and cost-reduction projects.
- Contribute to standardization of maintenance practices across laboratories.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Instrumentation Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- 3-8 years of relevant experience in:
- Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance
- Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance
- Automation Systems
- Wafer fab experience would be an added advantage
