CLERK MEDICAL OFFICE - Clinic Float

Description

• Performs receptionist, clerical, and other related duties in accordance with established standards and procedures. 
• Schedules patient appointments. 
• Discusses benefits with patients, responds to inquiries, and makes referrals as appropriate. 
• Communicates with patients and insurance companies regarding coverage, required deposits, and other related matters. 
• Maintains waiting area in a clean, orderly manner. 
• Maintains adequate office supplies.  
• Complies with established policies/procedures/safety standards.  
• Demonstrates excellence in customer/co-worker relationships.

Requirements

Education and Training:

• High school graduate or equivalency

Skills/Abilities:

• Demonstrated computer skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal (SOE) skills.
