Tasks:
- Conceive, design, and implement sophisticated software solutions for modern hazard detection systems in a dynamic, agile environment;
- Guide and shape the entire development cycle—from specification and system design through implementation and automated integration testing;
- Actively driving quality assurance by conducting constructive code reviews and establishing modern component and unit tests;
- Ensuring that all developed solutions comply with relevant norms and standards;
- Working with the project team to develop the technical system requirements for our products;
- Collaborating closely with our international teams on exciting projects;
Requirements:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification;
- Extensive, in-depth professional experience in software development using modern C and C++ (e.g., C++14/17/20);
- Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of cross-system interdependencies;
- In-depth knowledge of hardware-oriented software development and familiarity with common embedded operating systems (e.g.,
- Embedded Linux, RTOS such as FreeRTOS/Zephyr, or bare-metal architectures);
- Solution-oriented, strong communication skills in agile collaboration, decisive, and an appreciation for working in an intercultural team;
- Very good written and spoken German and English
