Position Overview:
Join Entrust as a Corporate Development Analyst and play a key role in evaluating growth opportunities that help shape the company’s strategic direction. In this role, you will support M&A, venture investment transactions, joint ventures, and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives by building financial models, conducting market and company research, evaluating potential opportunities, and preparing materials that inform and influence senior leadership decisions.
This is an opportunity for a highly analytical, curious, and detail-oriented professional to apply a strong foundation in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, equity research, or a related analytical environment. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex business problems, translating financial and market data into actionable insights, and working in high-visibility environment with exposure to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Build financial models that help evaluate M&A, venture investment, joint venture, and strategic growth opportunities.
Assess financial and operational impact, including synergies, cash flow implications, capital requirements, and key value drivers.
Research industries, markets, companies, and competitors to help identify, screen, and evaluate potential opportunities.
Contribute to the transaction process from initial evaluation and due diligence through structuring, closing, and post-investment tracking.
Partner with internal teams and external advisors to support due diligence, financial analysis, and issue identification.
Create clear, executive-ready investment memoranda, presentations, business profiles, and analytical materials for senior leaders and investment committees.
Bring ownership, intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and strong attention to detail while growing your responsibility and impact over time.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
2+ years of experience in investment banking (M&A preferred), corporate development, or other related finance role
Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting fundamentals, and valuation methodologies (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, and returns analysis)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
Ability to build accurate, well-structured financial and operating models and translate results into clear business recommendations
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present materials for senior stakeholders
Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, venture investments, joint ventures or other corporate development activities.
Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Compensation Range:
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $92,921-$136,285 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan. In addition to your pay, Entrust offers eligible colleagues and their dependents comprehensive health and well-being programs which include medical, vision, dental, a generous 401(k) matching contribution, life and disability insurance, mental health coaching, virtual fitness programs, paid personal time off plus 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education reimbursement.
