Description
Réalta Technologies are looking for an experienced Technical Writer with DeltaV experience to join a pharmaceutical project based in Cork. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with technical teams and can take existing DeltaV code/configuration and translate it into clear, accurate design documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret existing DeltaV code and configuration.
- Develop clear and structured technical and design documentation based on existing DeltaV functionality.
- Work closely with Automation Engineers and Subject Matter Experts to understand and document system functionality.
- Translate complex technical information into concise, easy-to-follow documentation.
- Review and update documents based on technical feedback and project changes.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent and aligned with project standards.
- Support documentation through review, approval and release.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience as a Technical Writer within an automation, engineering or pharmaceutical environment.
- Strong Emerson DeltaV experience and the ability to understand existing DeltaV code/configuration.
- Experience creating DeltaV technical or design documentation.
- Excellent technical writing, editing and documentation skills.
- Good understanding of DCS/automation systems and control logic.
- Experience working in a regulated/GxP environment is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Word/document formatting skills.
