J.J. Nichting is seeking an organized, dependable, and customer-focused Parts Specialist to join our team at our Sigourney location. This position plays an important role in supporting our customers in the agricultural industry by helping them find the correct parts and components for their equipment while providing exceptional customer service and attention to detail.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

• Check in parts orders daily and coordinate the distribution of products to customers and other dealership locations.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for the Parts Department for both existing and new customers.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone with parts inquiries, identification, and purchases.
• Work with the Parts Manager to maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet customer needs.
• Participate in ongoing inventory processes to help ensure accurate and effective inventory control.
• Help maintain an organized and efficient Parts Department.
• Identify opportunities to improve parts processes and departmental efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with other departments and dealership locations to support customer needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working with equipment parts is required.
• Knowledge of agricultural equipment is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn dealership parts and inventory systems.
• Ability to lift 50–70 pounds as needed.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday.
• Seasonal weekend hours required during peak agricultural seasons.
