## Your Responsibilities
As a Product Engineer for JD Turf Care located in Fuquay Varina, NC, you will:
- Be part of a dynamic and energetic team developing innovative Golf & Turf products and solutions.
- Design, develop, and validate mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for current and future Golf & Turf equipment applications.
- Support continuous improvement, model year updates, quality enhancements, cost reduction initiatives, and new product development projects from concept through production.
- Work within a global cross-functional team to define requirements, solve complex technical challenges, and deliver solutions that improve product performance, reliability, quality, and customer experience.
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, bills of material, and technical documentation using enterprise engineering tools and processes.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, supply management, quality, validation, and product support teams to develop robust and manufacturable product solutions.
- Participate in prototype builds, field evaluations, product testing, and design reviews to validate product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Apply engineering fundamentals, analytical tools, and structured problem-solving methods to investigate product issues and implement effective solutions.
- Support supplier and component development activities, including design reviews, testing, and implementation of engineering changes.

## What Skills You Need
- 1 or more years of product engineering experience in off-road equipment or automotive.
- 1 or more years of CAD (PTC Creo or equivalent) and GD&T application.
- Experience with product development and knowledge of the overall process (design, analysis, test, manufacturing, sourcing).
- Experience collecting requirements from stakeholders and making data-driven decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate within a cross-functional team across multiple sites and drive results.
- Ability to lead and execute sub-system level design projects.
## What Makes You Stand Out
- Master's degree in Engineering.
- Experience with at least one vehicle-level new product development cycle.
- Experience implementing cost and warranty-focused initiatives and utilizing root cause analysis.
- Experience modeling complex parts and surface modeling in CAD.
- A track record of innovation.
- Professional Golf & Turf industry experience.
- Experience working with PDM, SAP, and other enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated leadership and people skills.
## Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Agricultural, Electrical - Others may apply)
