Requirements to Qualify:Completion of the Department of Human Resources Youth Worker (CYBP/CORE) Program*.
*Applicants must have held or hold the payroll title of Youth Worker and have worked 40 hours a week for one year in the Countywide Youth Bridges Program.
License:
A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
Physical Class:
2 - Light: This class includes administrative and clerical positions requiring light physical effort that may include occasional light lifting to a 10-pound limit and some bending, stooping, or squatting. Considerable ambulation may be involved.
Withhold Information:

This examination will consist of a multiple-choice and/or simulation assessment(s), weighted 100%, measuring:

Applicants must meet the requirements and receive a passing score of 70% or higher on weighted test part in order to be placed on the eligible register.
Exam Review:Multiple-choice and/ or simulation assessments are not reviewable by applicants per Civil Service Rule 7.19.
Transfer of Test Responses:
- If you have taken identical components recently for other exams, your responses may be automatically transferred to this exam.
- This examination contains test components that may be used on future exams, and your responses could be transferred to those exams.

Eligibility and Vacancy Information:
Applicants who passed the assessments will be placed on an eligible register for a period of twelve (12) months. We will use this register to fill vacancies throughout the County of Los Angeles, as they occur. Applications will be processed on an as-received basis, and those earning a passing score will be promulgated to the eligible register accordingly.
