Role Summary
The Senior Supervisor, Landscape is responsible for overseeing the execution and maintenance of landscape works across assigned project sites. This includes daily supervision of general workers, coordination of tools and materials, ensuring compliance with safety and design standards, and assisting with site handover activities. The role supports Eco World’s digitalization journey by applying digital solutions and innovations to enhance work efficiency, collaboration, and output quality.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintenance Supervision & Quality Control
• Supervise daily landscape maintenance activities, ensuring plant health and cleanliness of the site.
• Ensure works comply with maintenance schedules, safety procedures, and company standards.
• Report major site issues such as plant health decline, irrigation faults, or safety concerns to upper management for further action.
2. Workforce & Equipment Oversight
• Allocate daily tasks to general workers and monitor performance.
• Manage tool and machinery usage (e.g., mowers, lorries, irrigation systems).
• Ensure all equipment is in working order and logged correctly.
• Handle team-related issues, including discipline and productivity.
3. Progress Monitoring & Reporting
• Maintain daily activity logs and weekly summary reports.
• Capture and upload site photos and updates using mobile platforms.
• Assist in drafting progress reports and verifying contractor performance.
4. Maintenance & Post-Completion Support
• Implement standard maintenance routines aligned with company guidelines.
• Monitor vendor and internal team performance during and after project handover.
• Participate in handover inspections and rectify outstanding issues.
• Coordinate with EWRC, Customer Care, and contractors for DLP tasks
5. Material & Inventory Management
• Track and manage materials such as plants, fertilizers, mulch, and tools.
• Update digital trackers or spreadsheets for stock control.
• Alert senior staff on procurement or replenishment needs.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of all materials on site.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Background
• Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Horticulture, or
• Certificate from Institut Pertanian Malaysia / Institut Kemahiran Belia Negara or equivalent.
Experience Requirements
• 3–5 years of working experience in landscape maintenance, construction, or site supervision.
• Experience handling general workers, tools, and landscape implementation is essential.
