Front Desk Staff (part-time)

About the role

HealthFitness is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Front Desk Attendant to join our team at Advocate Good Samaritan H&W in Downers Grove, Illinois. This is a regular part-time position with a consistent, long-term schedule, not a seasonal or summer-only role. As the face of the facility, you’ll create a welcoming first impression by greeting and checking in members, answering questions, and connecting them with programs and services that support their wellness journey.

Schedule: Sunday: 1:00pm-7:15pm, Thursday: 3pm-7pm and other possible shifts when needed

Greet, check-in and assist customers. Provides program information, services, membership and ensures the highest possible level of customer service and participant satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous customer service experience a plus.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
• Flu vaccination required.

The compensation range for this role is $14.00 - $15.00 per hour. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.  We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive wage within the market.
