About the Role
The Sr. Manager of Affiliates is responsible for supporting in the activation and execution of Global Affiliate Marketing programs in an effective way for Gap Inc. and its brands. Sitting within the broader Marketing Shared Services organization, this role will provide a strong understanding of affiliate marketing strategies and best practices. This role will work closely with Channel Activation, Channel Planning, and Brand Marketing teams, and Gap Inc.’s Media Agency partners to manage Affiliates programs and drive valuable change across the brands. They will be a key player in the effort to identify opportunities for greater economies of scale and synergies across Gap Inc.’s portfolio of brands.
What You'll Do
- Lead the implementation of a comprehensive affiliate marketing plan and roadmap for two Gap Inc brands that support brand and revenue goals.
- Govern the day-to-day management of team goals and provide guidance on appropriate prioritization and escalation of items to propel business initiatives
- Consistently evaluate performance by measuring against standardized set of KPIs to ensure that activity is adequately delivering across a set of defined metrics
- Regularly identify and communicate to stakeholders' opportunity areas in Affiliates program activity by taking a holistic view of work across Gap Inc.’s brands and aligning priorities to business needs
- Remain up to date on Affiliate trends to continually recommend shifts as necessary to achieve company goals and remain competitive in the industry
- Routinely digest performance data to draw actionable insights and initiate data-driven decisions that optimize Affiliates program efforts across Gap Inc.’s brands
- Regularly collaborate with Channel Planners to consistently align overall media strategy, drive valuable outcomes and increase brand awareness
- Maintain strong relationships with affiliate Media Agency partners to ensure top performance of Affiliates ventures
- Partner with Creative and Brand teams to ensure creative is optimized for various media channels
Who You Are
- Skilled marketing leadership experience, with 6-9 years in Affiliate marketing
- Strong history of collaborative leadership, team building, and managing individual contributors
- Experience supporting in the planning and executing of Affiliates campaigns while scaling performance-driven marketing channels
- Strong knowledge of Affiliates channels, technologies, best practices, and trends Experience in a highly complex, matrixed organization with proven ability of working cross-functionally to drive change
- Highly communicative and collaborative with history of driving positive outcomes across multiple teams and functions
- Entrepreneurial spirit that works through ambiguity, continuously improve ways of working, and infuse strategic thinking
