Learning Content Developer (Transformation)

The Global Delivery Centre (GDC) in Gurugram is ERM’s global operating backbone. It delivers business enablement services in Finance, HR, IT, and Commercial Operations to ensure ERM’s global business runs seamlessly, efficiently, and consistently.

At the GDC, you will:

• Be part of a hub that ensures ERM’s business continuity worldwide.
• Collaborate with colleagues across geographies to support global operations.
• Drive consistency, compliance, and efficiency in core functions.
• Work with digital, automation, and AI-enabled tools to optimise how ERM operates.
• Work in shifts where required, depending on the role. As processes mature and automation increases, reliance on shifts will reduce.

Why this role matters?

As a Learning Content Developer, you will support ERM's global learning delivery by transforming learning designs, scripts, and content into engaging, high-quality learning materials. You will work within the Learning & Development team, partnering with Learning Content Designers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and global stakeholders to create learner-ready assets that support capability building across ERM. This role is critical to ensuring learning solutions are delivered consistently, efficiently, and at scale, enabling high-quality learning experiences across ERM's global workforce.

• Experience in learning development, instructional design support, content development, or a related field.
• Proven ability to develop learning assets from scripts, storyboards, content outlines, and design specifications.
• Strong content writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Experience creating instructor-led training materials, digital learning content, job aids, and performance support tools.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, learner-friendly content.
• Experience working with global and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
• Familiarity with learning development technologies, authoring tools, and content production platforms.
• Understanding of accessibility, learner experience principles, and quality assurance practices.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools to support content creation and learning asset development.

Preferred qualifications, skills & competencies

• Experience within a global shared services, consulting, or learning delivery environment.
• Exposure to blended learning solutions, learning campaigns, and digital learning programs.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Learning Experience Platforms (LXP), and content deployment processes.
• Experience creating video-based learning assets, templates, and supporting multimedia content.
• Knowledge of automation, AI-enabled learning technologies, or emerging learning tools.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Education, or related disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Build learning assets based on approved learning designs, scripts, and content outlines.
• Develop instructor-led training materials, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, presentation decks, and learner resources.
• Create digital and self-paced learning assets, job aids, quick reference guides, and performance support materials.
• Produce video-based learning assets using approved templates and scripts.
• Ensure all assets are learner-friendly, visually consistent, accurate, and deployment-ready.

Multi-Format Learning Production

• Adapt learning content into appropriate formats based on audience and delivery requirements.
• Apply consistent formatting, visual standards, and learning design principles across assets.
• Modify learning materials for different regions, audiences, and delivery contexts where required.
• Support blended learning and campaign-based learning initiatives through asset development and production.

AI-Enabled Content Development

• Utilize AI-enabled tools to support drafting, editing, and refinement of learning content.
• Generate content variations for different learner groups and delivery formats.
• Create and enhance examples, practice activities, and video scripts using AI-assisted approaches.
• Apply sound editorial judgment to ensure content accuracy, quality, and alignment with learning objectives.
• Follow ERM guidelines for responsible and ethical AI usage.

Content Writing & Editing Support

• Support the development and refinement of learning content.
• Edit content for clarity, consistency, readability, and learner engagement.
• Transform existing materials into alternative learning formats such as job aids and performance support tools.
• Work closely with SMEs to convert complex subject matter into effective learning resources.

Collaboration & Global Delivery

• Partner with Learning Content Designers to understand learning intent and asset requirements.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to validate content accuracy and effectiveness.
• Operate effectively within a global delivery model and across multiple time zones.
• Manage workload and priorities to meet agreed delivery schedules and quality expectations.

Tools, Platforms & Quality Standards

• Use learning development and authoring tools efficiently to create high-quality learning assets.
• Adhere to ERM learning standards, templates, branding, and accessibility requirements.
• Conduct quality reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, functionality, and usability.
• Prepare and package learning assets for deployment through LMS, LXP, and workplace learning platforms.

Please note that this is a 6-month contractual role with ERM Global Delivery Centre (Gurugram). The position is offered on a fixed-term contract basis for 6 months, supporting ERM's global Learning & Development function. Candidates should be comfortable with the contractual nature of the role, hybrid work model (minimum 3 days in office), and working within a global delivery environment.
