The Day 2 Reviewer position is responsible for the day to day review of deposits made via ATM, MRDC as well as deposits from the teller line that meet filter criteria. The reviewer will look at the item(s) being deposited to the account along with the balance and history of the account to determine if a hold should be placed. The reviewer will follow the rules as outlined in Regulation CC and will mail corrected notices out for any corrected holds. However, if an item is determined to be fraudulent a fraud hold will be put in place and a referral will be sent to the fraud liaison of the market for customer contact as well as to the Fraud Department for further review.Job Description:

- Review items deposited along with the customers history based on filters used
- Look for potential concerns regarding the item in review such as alterations or variances in fonts
- Identify and escalate high priority or out of ordinary situations/requests and handle them accordingly
- Knowledge of bank products, services and systems
- Handle both inbound and outbound phone calls using proper service etiquette and active listening to ensure quality service
- Make recommendations for suspicious items
- Participate in department meetings and trainings to ensure consistent knowledge and understanding of the systems and regulatory requirements
SKILLS
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines as assigned
- Ability to utilize multiple computer applications/ programs efficiently
- Able to provide detailed explanation over the phone when required
- Self-starter that works well in a group environment
- Detail oriented and able to identify discrepancies on imaged documents
- Strong oral and written communication skills
EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Computer literate and have some working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Effective English verbal and written communication skills, Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Able to work flexible hours when needed
- Critical thinker
- Working knowledge or Precision as well as some knowledge or Reg CC requirements and rules
- At least 1 year of working experience, customer service or banking experience preferred
