Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician Coordinator, you’ll be a key part of our collaborative team. You’ll bring your skills and expertise to overseeing pharmacy technician workflow and production at the central processing pharmacy and assist the team with task completion. In addition, you’ll bring your leadership and communication talents to assisting the development of both new hires and staff through training and technical development.Job Description
- Experience Required: 6 months to 1 year
- Experience Desired: Office management
- Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
- Lifting Requirement: Up to 25 pounds
- Certification or Licensing Required: Pharmacy Technician Trainee, if applicable by state
- Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age
Job Responsibilities
- Train all new pharmacy technicians hired as well as the continual training of existing staff, including all policies and procedures.
- Perform all technician duties.
- Mentor pharmacy technicians in order to achieve and maintain the best team and individual metrics and goals.
- Oversee team of pharmacy technicians working on the floor with a focus on task support and Team Member development.
- Play an active role in CQI meeting.
- Submit system request forms in a timely manner if require.
