- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, entrances, and perimeter based on the needs of the location.
- Monitor access to the location and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate staff or supervisors.
- Complete required reports and document incidents, observations, and/or interactions in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
