Department/Specialty: Insurance Operations
Schedule: Full time, Days
Salary range: $138,258.29-$195,187.61 per year
Eligible for an annual bonus incentive

What You Will Do
- Claims Identification & Reporting: Monitor EEOC charges and litigation filings in conjunction with the Legal Department. Prepare and submit Notices of Loss/Circumstance and updates to carriers. Manage the Proof of Loss process for accurate cost reimbursement.
- Claims Management: Manage non-clinical claims of varying severity. Direct outside counsel according to litigation and billing guidelines. Maintain claims bordereaus and loss runs, and provide data to external brokers for renewals.
- Coverage Analysis & Compliance: Ensure compliance with policy reporting requirements, analyze reservation of rights letters, and draft responses to secure coverage. Review policy language to provide internal opinions on insurance recovery.
- Reporting & Strategy: Present claims reports to leadership regarding loss development, financial exposure, and mitigation strategies. Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and trials as necessary.
- Collaboration: Support Insurance Operations with underwriting marketing, renewals, and broker relationships.
What You Will Need
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences
- Attorney: 3+ years in Insurance Defense, Coverage Litigation, or Claims Management.
- Paralegal: 7+ years in litigation management.
- Claims Manager: 7+ years managing non-clinical litigation (EPL, D&O, etc.).
