What Makes You a Great Fit
You are a highly organised Category Coordinator who is passionate in supporting the successful delivery of category initiatives and promotions.
In this role, you’ll manage product information, generate category insights and reports, coordinate promotional content and materials, and liaise with suppliers and cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns on time.
You’ll also oversee ordering timelines, ensure alignment with key business KPIs, and create effective planograms that drive a strong in-store customer experience.
Your Role in Action
Provide accurate and timely maintenance of product database including but not limited to price changes & promotions
Preparation of category specific reports along with accurate & timely entering, reporting and calculation of data
Management of promotional samples, completion of photography brief & checking of catalogue proofs for accuracy and consistency
Coordination of in store signage and ticketing requests
Coordinate the end-to-end promotional process in conjunction with the Category Manager
Coordinate all promotional submissions from suppliers & ensure the offers meet the company’s promotional program
Ensure all promotional submissions meet the required KPI’s & confirmed with suppliers within the required timelines
Work with Merchandise Planner to ensure all ordering timelines are met including stock availability.
Your Experience & Expertise
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word, and Power Point
Previous Category Assistant/Coordinator experience in a retail environment
Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities
Exceptional interpersonal skills & attention to detail
Exceptional verbal & written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence multiple stakeholders
