Description
The Clinical Educator of Organ Placement Services serves as the primary educational resource for Trinity Organ Placement Services (TOPS). This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of onboarding, competency validation, continuing education, and professional development programs for TOPS staff. The Clinical Educator partners closely with leadership to ensure coordinators maintain the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to provide exceptional service to contracted customers while maintaining compliance with applicable OPTN policies and organizational standards.

Location: Remote, with occasional travel as required
Available Monday-Friday during regular business hours with occasional after-hours and weekend support, to serve as a resource to the service line during times of onboarding and initiating services with new contracted customers, as required
Qualifications:
A minimum of three years of experience in organ donation, transplantation, organ placement, transplant coordination, or related healthcare operations.
Experience developing educational content, competency programs, or learning management systems
Strong understanding of organ donation, transplantation, organ placement, and transplant coordination workflows
Working knowledge of OPTN policies, UNOS/UNet systems, and transplant industry regulations.
Strongly Preferred:
Experience working as a clinical educator in organ donation and/or transplantation or in an acute care setting, such as ICU, emergency department or on transplant floor
Previous clinical leadership experience
Allied health professional certification or professional clinical degree in nursing, health sciences, healthcare administration, or another relevant clinical credential
Working knowledge of transplant logistics
Familiarity with various electronic medical record platforms
