General Description:
Serves as key support role, partnering with departmental staff and loan officers to manage loan administrative process, data entry and a wide variety of operational tasks.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES
MAJOR DUTIES:
1. Book and disburse Residential loans, Equity loans, Installment loans and Commercial Loans.
2. Order appraisal reports and title work.
3. Focus on Commercial processing. May also be required to cross-train and prepare consumer loans, as well as loan estimates, early disclosures, and closing packet for residential real estate loans following TRID guidelines.
4. May require to prepare early disclosures and closing packets for Home Equity Lines of Credit.
5. Review and mail customer statements and notices.
6. Review and process monthly bills and remittances.
7. Process payments on escrow accounts for real estate taxes and homeowners insurance.
8. Process loan payments, answer customer telephone inquiries, and assist walk in customers.
9. Assists Loan Officers and all other Bank employees with requests and inquiries.
10. Responsible for accurately scanning, indexing and auditing loan document imaging.
11. Responsible for account reconciliations, including general ledger and non-post accounts. Also may be responsible for accurately and timely preparation of various management reports.
12. Maintain compliance to all government regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation E
(Electronic Funds), Regulation CC (Funds Availability,) CRA and Regulation DD, Loan Policy or other policies pertaining to your position.
13. Promote a positive image of bank involvement in community initiatives, organizations and culture with co-workers within the Bank.
14. Referring customers to suitable departments such Deposits, Loans, Financial Service Group, Merchant Services and/or Treasury Management.

Requirements
High School diploma, GED or equivalent. Preferred loan processing/banking experience, but not required. Strong analytical and organization skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel/Word preferred, but not required. Must possess the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently and within team setting.
