Partner with the best As a Lead Site Account Manager, you will play a critical role in managing strategic customer accounts while serving as the primary liaison between Baker Hughes and our customers. You will be responsible for strengthening customer relationships, providing specialized technical recommendations, and coordinating site service activities to ensure exceptional results, sustainable growth, and operational excellence. 

As a Lead Site Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and strengthening strategic relationships with key customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Providing technical and application recommendations related to chemical treatments to optimize customer operations and production performance.
  • Coordinating and overseeing the activities of site service teams assigned to customer accounts.
  • Leading the execution of contracts and projects while ensuring achievement of technical, operational, and commercial objectives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective service execution and timely customer support.
  • Identifying opportunities for business growth, operational improvements, and account expansion.
  • Providing customer feedback to the organization to drive continuous improvement in products, services, processes, and procedures.
  • Supporting business planning activities including budgeting, S&OP processes, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of chemical treatment programs and recommending adjustments when necessary.
  • Driving a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence across all activities.
  • Coaching and supporting the professional development of site service personnel and technical teams.
  • Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.

Fuel your passion to be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Have 10 to 15 years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience with chemical treatments and their application in oilfield production operations.
  • Possess strong technical knowledge of oilfield chemical technologies and applications.
  • Have experience managing customer accounts and providing specialized technical support.
  • Have experience coordinating field operations and leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, influencing, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Be proficient in English with advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be available to travel as required to support business needs.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong technical knowledge of demulsifiers, emulsifiers, corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, paraffin treatments, asphaltene treatments, and related production chemical applications.
  • Previous experience managing strategic accounts within the Oilfield Chemicals or Production Chemicals business.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, S&OP processes, and business planning activities.
  • Experience designing and optimizing chemical treatment programs to improve production performance and flow assurance.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities with a demonstrated ability to develop technical and field personnel.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and operational excellence practices.
