Description
The Senior Marketing Director is responsible for leading the organization's marketing strategy, overseeing the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, and driving measurable business growth through innovative marketing initiatives. This role partners closely with executive leadership, sales, product, customer success, and creative teams to strengthen brand awareness, generate demand, improve customer engagement, and achieve revenue goals.
The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing leader with a strong strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to build and execute data-driven marketing programs across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Lead annual marketing planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement.
- Identify market trends, competitive opportunities, and customer insights to inform business strategy.
- Present marketing initiatives and results to executive leadership.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on marketing opportunities and business growth.
- Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all customer touchpoints.
- Ensure brand consistency across digital, print, advertising, events, and communications.
- Drive initiatives that strengthen brand recognition and customer loyalty.
- Manage reputation management and brand governance efforts.

- Conduct performance evaluations and establish professional development plans.
- Recruit, train, and retain top marketing talent.
- Partner with Sales to align marketing initiatives with revenue goals.
- Collaborate with Product teams on go-to-market strategies and product launches.
- Work with Customer Success to improve customer engagement and retention.
- Coordinate with executive leadership to support company-wide strategic initiatives.
- Develop and manage the annual marketing budget.
- Allocate resources to maximize return on investment.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with agencies, consultants, and marketing vendors.
- Monitor marketing expenditures and ensure budget compliance.
- Define and monitor key marketing performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze campaign effectiveness and customer engagement metrics.
- Deliver executive-level reporting with actionable recommendations.
- Use marketing analytics to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 8–12+ years of progressive marketing experience.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing marketing teams.
- Proven success developing and executing integrated marketing strategies.
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar marketing budgets.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, content strategy, lead generation, and customer lifecycle marketing.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
