We are looking for an experienced Event Marketing Specialist to shape and deliver impactful event experiences for BorgWarner’s Independent Aftermarket business. In this role, you will manage the full event lifecycle - from concept development and planning to execution and performance evaluation - supporting global and regional marketing objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute BorgWarner IAM event marketing strategy aligned with global business objectives.
- Plan and manage a high-volume portfolio of events, ensuring successful delivery from concept through execution and post-event evaluation; on-site support at events occasionally required.
- Create and deliver engaging event concepts, including trade shows, roadshows, customer events, and technical training.
- Lead trade show activities, including both planning, logistics, and on-site event support.
- Coordinate event-related content and materials in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams.
- Manage external vendors and agencies, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Track event performance, identify improvement opportunities and share best practices across regions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in event marketing or a related field (automotive aftermarket experience (IAM) is a plus.).
- Willingness to travel (approx. 30%).
- Proven experience in managing a high volume of events, trade shows, and customer engagements across multiple locations.
- Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
