Your mission

This role is onsite in Berlin!

Startups are built by people who are willing to jump into whatever matters most. At mama health, we're looking for a Working Student who wants to do exactly that.
You'll work across the whole company on legal, compliance & strategic projects. No two weeks will look the same: You might help review contracts, support regulatory and compliance topics, prepare analyses for strategic decisions, or help keep company-wide legal processes on track.

This is not a passive support role. You'll be given real ownership from day one and the opportunity to learn how an AI startup is built from the inside.

You will:

• Support day-to-day legal operations across the company.
• Assist with contract review, drafting, and management.
• Help prepare analyses, presentations, and research on regulatory and compliance topics.
• Improve internal legal processes and help keep the business running efficiently and compliantly.
• Take ownership of your own projects and proactively identify areas for improvement.

• Currently enrolled in Law, Legal Studies, or a related degree.
• Available to work around 20 hours per week onsite at our office in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
• Strong analytical thinking and a structured way of working.
• Curious, proactive, and excited for the change that lies ahead.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities change quickly.
• Fluent in either German and English (both are absolutely fine).

Bonus points:

• Previous experience in a law firm, legal department, or compliance role.
• Interest in AI, healthcare, and technology.
• Knowledge of data protection (GDPR) or healthcare regulation.
