The Technical support Engineer will ensure Baker Hughes delivers flawless execution by providing Technical Support to the Service Delivery and Sales team when needed in pre-planning, job execution, and post job analysis.
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring compliance with managing the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
Sharing the knowledge across the organization by submitting best practices, case histories & lessons learned to the knowledge management database.
Raising an alert across the Service Delivery organization whenever an unfamiliar technical issue arises on a job.
Providing troubleshooting and solutions to our service delivery team to ensure flawless customer execution.
Communicating and presenting recommendations, project plans and technical roadmaps to senior business leaders and other stakeholders.
Following up on field failures that requires Technology involvement and ensure that the learning is shared across the field.
Liaising with service delivery, clients and collaborating with stakeholders on complicated processes to ensure successful delivery
Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on customer projects to design and execute best solutions
Communicate to Engineering and Technology organization on issues and lessons learned related to different technologies
Developing and implementing operational standards for the introduction of new products and technologies

To be successful in this role you will:
Have Bachelor's degree in a related field or demonstrate equivalent, professional work experience
Have at least 5 years’ experience as a Technical Support Engineer within oil and gas industry.
Demonstrate expertise within Technical Support, Field Operations or Engineering role.
Have experience providing innovative, adaptive technical solutions and support to internal and external customers.
Have thorough understanding of PL technology and Service Delivery requirements.
Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audience.
Demonstrate experience of leading, mentoring and motivating teams in a technical environment
Be able to travel at short notice to global and offshore locations (around 25% of the time)
