Content Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Specialist to develop, manage, and optimize content across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in content creation, digital communication, and storytelling to support brand awareness, customer engagement, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and manage engaging content for websites, social media, marketing materials, and other communication channels.
• Develop content plans and calendars to support marketing and branding initiatives.
• Conduct research and generate ideas for relevant and engaging content.
• Collaborate with internal teams, designers, and external partners to produce high-quality content.
• Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, tone, and communication objectives.
• Manage and optimize social media content to increase engagement and audience reach.
• Monitor content performance and prepare reports with insights for improvement.
• Support campaigns, events, and promotional activities through content development.
• Stay updated on industry trends, digital platforms, and content best practices.
• Perform other content-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, Journalism, Creative Media, English, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in content creation, copywriting, digital marketing, social media, or related roles.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience creating content for digital platforms and social media is an advantage.
• Creative mindset with good attention to detail.
• Familiarity with content management systems, basic design tools, or digital marketing tools is an advantage.
• Good communication and project coordination skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Remuneration

MYR 3,500 – MYR 6,000
