The purpose of the Client Executive (Planning) role is to support the client team in the planning and implementation of client campaigns.
This role supports the development of communication plans and the management of digital campaigns from buying and implementation through to reporting and the delivery of insights that drive performance for clients.
The Client Executive (Planning) demonstrates strong attention to detail across all aspects of their work and takes responsibility for ensuring accuracy in campaign delivery and reporting.
Your Scope Will Include
Planning & Client Support
- Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and relevant external partners, including media owners and partner agencies, to support client and Spark business objectives.
- Develop strong knowledge of client products, target audiences, communication strategies and key messages.
- Research historical brand and campaign activity to understand performance outcomes and strategic direction.
- Build an understanding of client category landscapes, consumer behaviour and marketplace trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams and the Senior Planning Executive / Client Manager to develop effective cross-channel communication plans.
- Actively contribute to internal and external WIP meetings, raising potential issues early and proactively supporting resolutions.
Campaign Delivery
- Support the development and execution of communication and media plans across digital and cross-channel campaigns.
- Assist with campaign buying, implementation and coordination processes.
- Ensure accuracy across campaign inputs and support quality control of deliverables.
- Prepare reporting by collating campaign data and producing basic performance reports.
- Assist in delivering campaign insights and performance summaries for clients.
- Monitor campaign activity and proactively escalate issues where required.
- Contribute to campaign optimisation discussions under the guidance of senior team members.
- Ensure all campaign work is delivered accurately, on time and to a high standard.

- Support the accurate implementation of media plans within approved budgets.
- Assist in monitoring campaign spend and budget alignment.
- Ensure accuracy of campaign inputs that support invoicing and reconciliation processes.
- Maintain awareness of commercial implications across campaign delivery.
- Support financial accuracy in reporting and administration tasks.
