We are seeking a Full Time Hostess to join our restaurant team and create a warm, welcoming first impression for every guest who walks through our doors. This role is ideal for someone who is personable, organized, calm under pressure, and passionate about creating thoughtful, memorable guest experiences.

The Hostess works closely with servers, bartenders, managers, and culinary teams to ensure guests feel genuinely cared for from the moment they arrive. This role plays an important part in setting the tone of the dining experience while supporting smooth restaurant flow and exceptional hospitality.

Hostess – Essential Functions

• Greet guests in a warm, friendly, and genuine manner upon arrival
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments to support smooth service flow
• Escort guests to their tables and provide a welcoming introduction to the dining experience
• Maintain awareness of dining room flow, table status, and guest needs throughout service
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, managers, and kitchen teams to support seamless guest satisfaction
• Answer guest questions regarding menus, restaurant hours, and hotel offerings as needed
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entry, and dining room areas
• Support opening and closing side work duties as assigned
• Handle guest concerns or special requests with professionalism and care, escalating when appropriate
• Uphold company policies, service standards, and the overall Lyle guest experience

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or guest service experience preferred, but not required
• Hotel experience is not required — a fun, welcoming personality is a must
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm, poised, and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude with a team-oriented and guest-first mindset
• Flexible schedule required, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation:

$19.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
