Test Automation Engineer

## Your Impact

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of Qualitrol’s Smart Sensor products. You will develop automated test solutions, execute product validation activities, support manufacturing readiness, and coordinate regulatory testing for electromechanical products.

## Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute design verification and validation (DV&V) plans for smart sensor products.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test systems and scripts.
• Perform functional, environmental, reliability, and compliance testing.
• Lead First Article Inspection (FAI) activities and support manufacturing validation.
• Develop test fixtures, data acquisition systems, and automated reporting tools.
• Support China-specific and global compliance requirements, including coordination with external test labs.
• Analyze test results, drive root cause investigations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Partner with Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure product readiness and quality.

## Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in product testing, validation, or test automation.
• Experience with electromechanical products, sensors, or embedded systems.
• Proficiency with Python, LabVIEW, or similar automation tools.
• Experience with AI tools
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience with environmental, EMC, reliability, or regulatory testing.
• Knowledge of FAI, quality systems, and manufacturing test processes.
• Experience working with China-based suppliers, manufacturing teams, or compliance agencies.
• Familiarity with Agile development and Jira.
