Job Details:

Job Summary:
Plans, executes, and closes projects within defense training environment. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to scope. Projects involve delivery of engineering, maintenance and support services. The role manages cost, schedule, performance that meet contractual obligations. 

The project Manager brings disciplined execution skills, and the ability to drive teams to successful delivery and operation of Cubic’s simulation systems. The Project Manager serves as the primary contact with customers and stakeholders.

The role reuires Security Clearence handle classified systems information within Swedish Armed Forces.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the execution of engineering, support and maintenance activities.
• Manage baseline cost, schedule, and performance using EVMS best practices.
• Run internal program reviews and customer program status meetings.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, SOWs, CDRLs, and configuration control processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact to customers and users.
• Manage expectations, provide timely communication, and build strong customer relationships.
• Coordinate closely with engineering leads, quality, finance, operations, and project teams.
• Manage project financial performance: revenue, profit, cash, and risk management.
• Conduct monthly reviews, including cost/schedule variances, and mitigation planning.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and opportunities; maintain risk registers with quantified impacts.
• Purchasing of materials and services for training and simulation systems.
• Identify suppliers and products for purchase. Approve and monitor purchase orders.
• Support contract modifications, cost estimates, and proposals.
• Resolve issues impacting technical performance, staffing, purchases, and field deployment.
• Contribute to capture and proposal teams for new opportunities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, communication, and execution excellence
• Manage Help Desk and Customer Service Software for tracking of support and maintenance tasks
• Perform trade studies to determine the best solution within cost and capability.
• Participate in quality management and continuous process improvement.
• Prepare and review documentation of training systems, including operator, installation and maintenance manuals.
• Prepare, conduct and follow up training courses to ensure end users ability to operate and maintain training systems.
• Consult customers and end users concerning the performance of Cubic’s training and simulation systems.
• Ensure own health and safety and that of others by following all rules and procedures, reporting and managing all hazards in the work area and actively contributing to, and participating in, company health and safety initiatives.
• In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by their manager from time-to-time, as may be reasonably required of them.
