Job Description:
The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials and components required to support production operations. This position coordinates material planning, inventory control, supplier follow-up, and demand requirements to ensure production continuity while optimizing inventory levels and supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan material requirements based on production demand.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability.
- Coordinate with suppliers to maintain on-time delivery performance.
- Analyze demand trends and forecast material needs.
- Identify and mitigate material shortages and supply risks.
- Support inventory optimization initiatives.
- Maintain accurate planning parameters in ERP/MRP systems.
- Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Supplier teams to ensure uninterrupted operations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, supply chain, or logistics.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of inventory control and demand planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
