Overview
As a Traffic Control Person, you'll ensure the safety and flow of traffic in work zones across the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. Your responsibilities include setting up traffic control zones, adjusting work zone equipment, giving clear traffic directions, conducting safety compliance, attending health and safety meetings, and wearing required personal protective equipment. You'll need effective communication skills to de-escalate public frustrations and report safety matters. This role requires a valid BC TCP Certification, ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and availability for minimum 3 weekdays with occasional weekend work.
