Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a  Senior Process Engineer-Solder Cold Plate located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Process Engineer Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Process Engineer to oversee and optimize our manufacturing operations, with a critical and specialized focus on Solder Cold Plate (SCP) processes, which serve as the primary technical differentiator and top priority for this role.

What a typical day looks like:

• The incumbent will be responsible for managing the integrity of complex assembly processes, ensuring operational excellence, adherence to quality standards, and driving continuous innovation through Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Additionally, this role serves as the primary technical point of contact for international clients, providing leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers to ensure project scalability, robustness, and success.
• Supervise, mentor, and coach a team of process engineers, fostering a high-performance environment and a collaborative team culture.
• Serve as the technical lead and point of contact for international clients, conducting meetings and presentations fluently in English.
• Spearhead process improvements using Lean methodologies to optimize cycle times, cost efficiency, and product quality.

Experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced English.
• SMT Proficiency: Manage and optimize SMT lines, including DEK (stencils/printing), SPI (solder paste inspection), Camelot (dispensing), and thermal profiling for reflow ovens.
• Specialized Assembly: Oversee and ensure compliance in Pressfit technology, fastening/screwing processes, and general assembly.
• Documentation & Quality: Develop and maintain process flowcharts, pFMEA, and control plans to guarantee robust, repeatable processes.
• Experience in Solder Cold Plate (SCP) Processes: In-depth experience in execution, troubleshooting, and process optimization. This is the core requirement for this position.
•  Vacuum Thermal Processing: Expert configuration and profiling for vacuum ovens.
•  Flux Management: Precision in Flux application and inspection techniques.
