Set within a large 5-star resort estate, this is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a busy engineering team responsible for maintaining exceptional standards across guest areas, restaurants, spa facilities, event spaces, and back-of-house operations. The resort features extensive leisure, hospitality, and event facilities, making this a varied and hands-on engineering role.
As a Shift Engineer, you’ll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the property while delivering a high standard of service and safety across the estate.
This role would suit someone with previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience who enjoys problem-solving, working as part of a team, and operating within a fast-paced luxury environment.

- Free parking on site, or a subsidised bus service
- Assistance with relocation if required
- Family & friends’ rates
- Loads of social events planned over the year
- Free use of the gym & spa
- Health, Eye & Dental Care
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience working within a hotel or similar environment is essential
- Mechanical or electrical qualification, ideally to City & Guilds level
- Strong understanding of building maintenance and fault-finding
- Ability to carry out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance
- Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and occasional nights
Typical shifts operate on a rota basis and include:
- 07:30 to 16:00
- 10:30 to 19:00
- 14:30 – 23:00
If you’re looking to develop your engineering career within a large-scale luxury hospitality environment where no two days are the same, we’d love to hear from you.
PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NEED THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK TO BE SUITABLE FOR THIS ROLE.
