Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contracts Lead to join our team!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Ensure all contracts are aligned with company policies, project requirements, and legal regulations.

• Maintain an organized contract repository and track key milestones, obligations, and deliverables.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks across projects.

• Advise project teams on contract terms, liability, claims, and change management.

• Collaborate with legal counsel on complex contractual disputes or claims resolution.

• Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related issues with project teams.

• Review project documentation to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.

• Support project managers in claim submissions, variation orders, and contractual correspondence.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.

• Prepare and present commercial reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management.

• Support negotiations and dispute resolution, ensuring outcomes are commercially favorable.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

• Monitor contractual obligations, deadlines, and performance metrics.

• Implement best practices in contract management and continuous improvement processes.

• Mentor and guide junior contracts and commercial staff.

• Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment within the contracts function.

• Conduct performance reviews and support professional development initiatives.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPCM, CCM, or equivalent) are preferred.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management, preferably in infrastructure, civil engineering, or airport projects.

• Proven expertise in contract negotiation, administration, and risk management.

• Experience managing large-scale projects and interfacing with multiple stakeholders.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• Experience with international contracts and FIDIC or NEC contract forms.

• Knowledge of airport or aviation project procurement, operations, and compliance requirements.

• Ability to manage multiple high-value contracts simultaneously.

• Strong business acumen with a focus on commercial outcomes and risk mitigation.

• Experience in dispute resolution and claims management.
