We are seeking an LMS Specialist to manage and support our client's proprietary Learning Management System, used by schools across the United States. This role focuses on user administration, course management, and ensuring that educators and students can access the platform efficiently and without friction.
This is not a highly technical development role. Instead, we are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can own LMS operations and handle day-to-day platform administration with precision and reliability.
- Create, manage, and maintain user accounts within the LMS.
- Enroll students, teachers, and administrators into courses and learning paths.
- Configure courses and learning content as needed to support platform users.
- Monitor LMS functionality and assist with troubleshooting user issues.
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain organized, up-to-date records.
- Support customer onboarding activities related to LMS setup and configuration.
- Coordinate with the Customer Support team and internal stakeholders to resolve platform-related requests.
- Assist with reporting and general platform administration tasks.
- 5+ years of experience working with Learning Management Systems, educational platforms, or software administration.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with LMS platforms such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, TalentLMS, Thinkific, or similar systems.
- Comfortable learning and administering proprietary software tools.
- Experience in EdTech or educational environments.
- Familiarity with user provisioning, course management, and learning content administration.
- Interest in gaming, esports, cybersecurity, or technology education.
