Event Staff Attendant - Per Diem

SUMMARY:
The Event Staff Attendant’s responsibilities include controlling entry to assigned parking areas, selling parking permits and providing parking information to patrons for local events. Due to the location and duties of the job, attendants are exposed to various weather conditions throughout the year. Hours are typically in the afternoon and evening; some daytime hours are also available.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must be able to work independently and, in a group/team setting

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally climb ladders, lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds and may infrequently lift and/or move over twenty-five (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or GED equivalent, preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check, physical and substance abuse screen. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
