In this role, you will be working as a Mechanical Structural Engineering Manager for a client in the manufacturing industry. This position will be responsible for management of the structural and mechanical design projects and department.
This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- 6+ years of experience as a team lead or supervisor
- Experience with AutoCAD and 3D CAD (Inventor or Solidworks)
- Responsible for assigning resources for various engineering projects and developing those resources to meet company needs
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the structural portuion of a design
- Select, develop and evaluate engineering personnel to ensure department operations
- Manage and oversee analysis, testing and feasibility studies
- Understands codes and standards including UFC, IBC, ANSI and ASCE
