National Operations Manager – Transport

An exciting opportunity for an experienced transportation and logistics leader to join a well-established organization with a large-scale nationwide distribution network. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced operations, enjoys leading large teams, and has strong expertise in fleet management, transport optimization, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee nationwide transportation operations across 10+ locations, supporting warehouses, factories, and sales distribution networks throughout Thailand
• Manage both owned fleets and subcontracted transportation partners to ensure operational efficiency, service quality, safety, and compliance
• Drive resource planning and delivery execution to ensure products are delivered accurately and on time
• Take full ownership of transportation budgets, cost optimization, and P&L performance
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and logistics partners to achieve service excellence and cost efficiency
• Establish and monitor transportation KPIs to proactively identify risks, service gaps, and operational improvement opportunities
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and transportation network enhancement projects
• Ensure compliance with transportation laws, safety standards, and operational procedures
• Promote a strong safety culture through coaching, training, and operational discipline across internal teams and 3PL partners
• Analyze operational issues, root causes, shortages, and process failures to implement sustainable corrective actions
• Inspire and lead large transportation teams with a strong focus on accountability, engagement, and operational excellence

Ideal Background

• Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations management within a large-scale organization
• Strong experience managing nationwide fleet operations and subcontractor networks
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multi-site operations and large operational teams
• Strong commercial mindset with P&L management experience
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
• Experience driving operational excellence, KPI management, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of transportation compliance, safety standards, and logistics regulations in Thailand
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment with strong leadership presence
