Development Manager – Regeneration & Housing
Day rate: £600 - £800 per day (dependant on experience)
Contract position
Hybrid – London
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Development Manager to support a major public sector regeneration programme, delivering large-scale housing and infrastructure projects in partnership with leading developers.
Role Overview – Development Manager:
- Act as the local authorities lead for a flagship housing development (approx. 1,500 homes, schools, and local centre).
- Coordinate internal workstreams across planning, education, finance, and infrastructure teams.
- Manage relationships with joint venture partners, ensuring governance, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Facilitate joint venture board meetings, preparing papers and supporting decision-making.
- Support additional regeneration schemes and associated infrastructure programmes.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in residential development and regeneration projects.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience working within joint venture frameworks and managing developer relationships.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to drive progress across complex workstreams.
Qualifications:
- No specific qualifications required; emphasis on relevant experience.
- Background in housing development, regeneration, or major capital projects highly desirable.
