A respected civil and structural engineering firm based on the Seacoast is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to take the lead on design, mentorship, and client delivery. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead grading, drainage, stormwater, erosion control, and permitting for land development projects

• Oversee technical design work using AutoCAD (Carlson preferred) and HydroCAD

• Review and prepare construction drawings, calculations, and permit submissions (including NHDES AoT)

• Collaborate directly with clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers

• Conduct occasional site visits and represent the firm at evening planning board or public meetings

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of experience in civil/site design and permitting

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering from an accredited university

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and civil design tools (HydroCAD, Carlson, etc.)

• PE license strongly preferred (NH stamp ideal)

• Familiarity with New Hampshire permitting processes (especially AoT)

• Ability to lead meetings, write reports, and communicate clearly both internally and externally

• Open to learning new tools and approaches

• Comfortable being in-office most of the week, with flexibility as needed
