Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee construction management activities for significant water and wastewater treatment plant projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and contractors, to manage and monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining open lines of communication and addressing client needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage multiple water & wastewater infrastructure and treatment facility construction
- Leverage your extensive business development experience to identify, pursue, and secure new project opportunities within the civil engineering industry, particularly with municipal clients in South Texas
- Develop and execute effective business development strategies, leveraging your network and industry knowledge to expand our client base and drive revenue growth.
- Lead the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and project updates, showcasing our capabilities and winning the confidence of clients.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends, regulations, and best practices, guiding clients and internal teams with informed insights.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, leading by example and contributing to the overall success of the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. (Master's degree is a plus)
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management of large-scale water and wastewater treatment plant projects for municipal or federal clients.
- Experience building an Ultraviolet treatment (UV) or Reverse Osmosis (RO) or a Membrane Filtration Treatment plant as an owners representative or construction manager
- Strong understanding of construction regulations, industry standards, and best practices within the water and wastewater treatment plant sector.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and foster collaborative working relationships.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and maintain strong client relationships and successfully navigate negotiations.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools to facilitate efficient project tracking and reporting.
- Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
