System Analyst

Overview

Our clients are seeking passionate and skilled System Analyst to join the dynamic team, working on enterprise‑scale projects within the banking and financial services sector. This role offers exposure to cutting‑edge technologies, full stack development, and mission‑critical payment systems. 

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust, and efficient Java applications.
• Translate software requirements into stable, high‑performance solutions with proper documentation and test coverage.
• Work on full stack development, including backend and frontend.
• Ensure system reliability and high availability architecture for mission‑critical banking/payment applications.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with operational needs.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup, Git version control, and Agile development practices.
• Support payment systems integration, including SWIFT (MX migration) and local clearing (CHATS).
• Conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing, ensuring quality delivery.
• Work effectively with offshore teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in system development and support.
• Solid hands‑on experience in Java, JavaScript, SQL, and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of DB design, high availability architecture, CI/CD, and Git.
• Exposure to banking/payment systems (SWIFT, CHATS) is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English.
